WHAT IS LIFE?
A man is born today, tomorrow he is dead.
A man lives in a mansion today, tomorrow he lives
A man drives a car today, tomorrow an ambulance
A man reads biology today, tomorrow a biography
is been read of him.
A man eats whatever he wants today, tomorrow he
becomes food for insects.
A man is always early for work today, tomorrow he
is termed late Mr/Mrs/Miss
A man is seen resting in his house today, tomorrow he is resting in a coffin. And they say “Rest In Peace”!
A man eats all kinds of fruits in his house today,
tomorrow he becomes manure to those trees.
A man is known today as the richest man ever,
tomorrow he doesn’t even know where or what will
happen to his riches.
WHAT LIFE IS AFTER ALL:
Plan your life because you may not see tomorrow.
But when your life is well planned you won’t be
afraid of anything.
ACT RIGHT AND LIVE GODLY. ALWAYS BE A HELPING HAND TO OTHERS.
Come to think of this?…….
1. Eternal life = free
2. Church entrance = free
3. Christ’s salvation = free
4. God’s love = free
5. Breath of life = free
A. Cigarette = pay
B. Prostitution = pay
C. Alcohol = pay
D. Nightclub entrance fee = pay
E. Powers to rule the world = pay
Then why are people paying for hell while PARADISE is free?
Believe in Christ and you shall be saved.
1 John 2:17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever
1 John 2:25 And this is what He promised us–eternal life
1 John 17:3 And this is the way to have eternal life–to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.
Let’s say it together: I TRUST HIM because God is Spirit – I will seek intimate fellowship with Him. Because God is All Powerful – He can help me with anything. Because God is ever-present – He is always with me. Because God knows everything – I will go to Him with all my questions and concerns. Because God is Sovereign – I will joyfully submit to His will. Because God is Holy – I will devote myself to Him in purity, worship and service. Because God is absolute truth – I will believe what He says and live accordingly. Because God is Righteous – I will live by His standards. Because God is just – He will treat me fairly. Because God is love – He is unconditionally committed to my well-being. Because God is merciful – He forgives me of my sins when I sincerely confess them. Because God is Faithful- I will trust Him to always keep His promises. Because God never changes – my future is secure and eternal…AMEN (Thankful).
Rejoice in the Lord always. Either way, it does not say rejoice in people, jobs, friends, clothes, cars, houses, position, fame or fortune. It does not say rejoice in our circumstances, it says, “rejoice in the Lord!” meaning our joy is in one place alone and that is on God. When our joy is truly in Jesus, there is a contentment and peace that is indescribable and not understandable. When we come to the place in our lives and realize things change, people change. God is the only one that cannot change – – Glory! So don’t get bent out of shape in your trials, rejoice in the ONE who knows how to sanctify us and make us whole and Holy. Rejoice knowing God loves you. Rejoice that He is always faithful and true to His Word and character and consistent in all He is and does. This is why we can “always” ..Rejoice in the Lord always: I will say it again: REJOICE!! Philippians 4:4. AMEN.
No matter how many mistakes you have made, there are in the past. God has cleaned and made you new. Let those who live in your past and keep reminding you all the wrongs you have done not to affect your new you and your faith. God honors our faith not our past. We all make mistakes at one point in our lives but it shouldn’t define you. Also; you cannot repeat the same mistake repeatedly. Stop going back to the bad habits, stop hurting people, your family and loved ones by your words and actions.
Definition of mistake is a wrong action attributable to bad judgment or ignorance or inattention. You might have made bad judgment about a situation leading to make bad decisions or said unpleasant things to your family or friends and hurting your loved ones. When you confess your wrongs to the Lord, He will cast them as far as the east is from the west, and He will remember them no more. (1John 1:9-10; If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us). Ask forgiveness too to the ones you have wronged, it doesn’t make you a lesser human being but it shows your maturing and your sincerity.
Sometimes we cause self-inflict pain in our lives by not forgiving our own self. Yes, you might have hurt by other people but there are lots of situations where we hurt ourselves. We hurt ourselves when we hold on to the weight of past mistakes and failures. We do more harm than good to keep beating ourselves up for the wrong decisions made in the past. We hurt ourselves when we don’t see anything beyond that and become comfortable with the “pain”. I believe God is telling you today to “let it go” forgive yourself. Allow God to start working in you and the healing process resume. Remember forgiveness is for you.
There is nothing to gain by holding yourself in unforgiveness and there is everything to gain by releasing yourself from unforgiveness. You got to let go and make move to a positive direction. Never give up on yourself after a mistake, learn from it. Forgive and set yourself free.
Have Esther’s boldness and courage then go for it. If God is in it you are covered, protected and secured. The Book of Esther demonstrates that God can use anyone to fulfill His purpose and to serve His purpose. What if you are the one who can save your family, your community or the world for that matter. God can sometimes put you in an awkward, difficult, unsettling even life-threatening situation for a purpose.
Esther took a bold move and risked her life, she was concerned about others security more than her own security. How often can we do that? Are we willing to go an extra mile to help and stand for those around us? How frequently can we put aside self and put other people’s needs first?
Esther had an option 1. To decline/ignore or 2. To take a risk and go for it. She was open for advice and willing to act upon it. God Has a purpose for the situations He places us. We need to trust Him and obey His Word. Where God leads He always provides. Isaiah 58:11 says; The Lord will guide you always, He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
Now Persian kings often held great banquets before going to war. Waging war was not only for survival, it was also a means of acquiring more wealth, territory and power. The king as the center of that power was one of the wealthiest people in the world during that time. Persian Kings loved to flaunt their wealth. So, King Xerxes threw a big party, the celebration lasted 180 days. When those days were over, the king gave enclosed banquet which lasted for seven more days. Meanwhile his wife Queen Vashti also gave a banquet for the women in the royal palace. Then on the last day of the seven days, King Xerxes commanded his servants to bring before him Queen Vashti so that he can show her off to the people but she refused to come and parade for the King and the people. Refusing the command of the King was against the law and once the law is broken consequences follow. King Xerxes had to issue a royal decree that Vashti shouldn’t never to enter the presence of the king ever again, she was burnished and her royal position was to be given to someone else, that is when we see Esther coming in.
The king was attracted to Esther more than any other women, he was taken by her beauty and character, she won his favor then he set a royal crown on her head and made her queen.
Have you find yourself in a situation that really doesn’t make sense to you but at the end of it you realize you went through it in a season for a reason to get you to the point where God wants you to be and then suddenly it makes sense to you.
Esther was an orphan, she lost her parents at a young age and her cousin Mordecai took upon himself to raise Esther as his own. God came through for Esther a nobody to somebody. Esther did not have a title after or before her name, she didn’t have a great status…BUT GOD hallelujah from an orphan to a queen how awesome and magnificent is that. It does not matter who you are or where you come from but when God wants to use you, He will use you hallelujah!
(Esther 4:1-17) When it was made known to Esther that not only Haman’s anger was directed to her cousin Mordecai but was also directed to all the Jews. Mind you Queen Esther never revealed her nationality and family background. How will she execute to ask the King to reverse the order commanded to kill all the Jews? When the order is issued it is unreversed it must stay forever. Esther then requested the Jews to gather together and fast for three days.
You cannot face challenges on your own strength, you need God’s intervention to guide you and protect you. God operates through our strength as much as through our weakness as well. Sometimes God puts you in a situation to act not just to sit and wait. Seek God more, His already in it and the victory is already on hand, only requires you to act.
When Esther finally made her petition known to the King, he not only agreed to spare her people’s lives but also honored Mordecai for the good deed when he exposed a plot to assassinate the King. It might look like your good deeds are not being noticed or acknowledged but God is the rewarder for those diligently seek Him. Hebrews 6:10 says; God is not unjust, He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them.
Now going back to Esther; In the book of Esther we learn that God has a plan for each one of us. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and future. What God placed in your heart, go for it. He has chosen you for such time as this….Hallelujah!
May God abundantly bless you!
