Humble beginnings

IMG_4140Doing something from nothing not only shows God’s work in you, also shows your faith in God. He turns a nobody to somebody. He turns nothing to something. God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualified the called. Look at humble beginnings of a certain jobs, business, project etc. On my research I found out that most of the fortune 500 companies started with close to nothing but now are huge successful companiesthey started from the bottom now they are here”. And in the process, some of them were turned off in many places because ‘they were not qualified, not suitable or fit” for the positions. But because of their zeal and determination, they pursued what they felt God placed in their heart to do so. Humble or small beginnings is a good start too, don’t despise it and don’t pay attention to those who will try to crush your vision.
Amazon is one of the world’s largest online retailer yet it started from the garage and a whole lot more companies as well. Idea and vision that God places to a person, no one can tarnish. You might be not getting any support or any encouragement but tap on the power that is within you and utilize it to encourage you and motivate you not to stop or give up. Where God leads, He provides, I believe He will connect you with the right people who will be able to help you excel.
It does not matter where you are, your background, environment, race or color, God will pull you out and place you on a high table. Nazareth was despised by the Jews because it had poor reputation in morals and religion. It was a small town I guess not as fancy too like most big towns. Nothing was expected to come out from Nazareth, not alone a Messiah for that matter. It seems like a small village, remote and no activities was going on in that place yet the Messiah came out from it. Your current environment or circumstances does not determine your future. His spoken Word will manifest in your life. Your idea or vision will come to pass, hold on to your faith. Humble beginnings lead to great destinations.

You will succeed

IMG_3697The Bible says; Upon the eighth month, Solomon completed the house of God per specification after seven years of planning and intensive work…1 Kings: 6:38. Beloved, this eighth month shall be a significant month of accomplishments in your life. The God of perfection will perfect everything that concerns you. Every pending project shall be completed to the glory of God and shame to those who under-estimate the Power of God in your life.

Every spirit of almost there, nearly there, but never there is hereby rebuked and destroyed from your life by fire of the Holy Ghost in JESUS MIGHTY NAME. You will succeed in all your endeavors. The Lord will grant you all your heart desires. He will do exceedingly and abundantly more than your expectations. All your years of sleepless nights of anxieties, worries and uncertainty shall give way for your morning of breakthrough, testimonies, celebrations and thanksgiving. You will gain glory over every physical and spiritual battle and sing a joyful new song of victory in JESUS MIGHTY NAME. Ayayaya hallelujah hallelujah!

Support one another

IMG_3317

They wanna see you do good, but never better than them. Remember that.” Such a profound quote.

Not everyone has your best interests at heart. We live in a society that relishes tearing each other down. That allows envy, jealousy and backstabbing spirit work through some people. Most chances are; they sadly destroy relationships i.e. family relationships, marriage relationship, friendships etc. Some see your potential and have resources to help you but they will never lift a finger to support you because of competitive spirit. However; God is above it all and will see you through.
The GOOD NEWS is; where God leads He always provides, He will connect you to the right people and can even cause your enemies to support you hallelujah! As you step out, you stepping out in favor and coming in blessings. Whether the enemy approves it or not, when God is in it nobody can destroy it. Your company/business will soar, your projects will succeed, you will flourish in Jesus mighty name.
Go ahead and do your business, wishing well those who have gone before you. The Word of God says in Galatians 5:22-26: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

More of You Lord, less of me

Maybe you are tired of being tied. You are desperate for just one touch from the Lord. Your eyes are sore, you cry out to Him; you plead with Him “how long should I suffer, how long should I stand in hope and believe for a change. My strength feels gone, I cannot anymore, I feel numb and empty. I need more of You Lord and less of me. I cannot do it on my own. May I decrease and You increase Lord”.

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6. Have you ever felt desperate? Maybe you have experienced being desperate to be married, desperate to have a baby, desperate for employment, or desperate to be healed.

The word desperate is defined as having an urgent need or desire. It is something that you want more than anything. How about desperate for God? Did you know only God can create in us a desperation for Him? None of us wake up saying, “I really want more of God.” Our natural minds don’t operate that way. God literally must put in us a desire for more of Him. And when that desire is strong, your pride just goes out of the window and you could care less about what people think.

Picture the woman with the issue of blood feeling desperate for Jesus’ healing power. She didn’t care what anybody thought of her or whether people were looking at her or not. She was desperate. Imagine blind Bartimaeus shouting “Jesus, thou Son of David have mercy on me!” (Mark 10:47). He was desperate and tired of being sick and tired. He wanted a miracle and he knew the only person that could give him one was Jesus. The only person that can give you what you need is Jesus.

Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you. It takes God to give you the heart of a seeker. It takes God to create in your desperation. You can ass be rest assured that when God gives you a hunger, a thirst, a desperation and strong desire for Him, He is about to satisfy you and be amazingly glorified in your life. Oh, how blessed we are. We are not blessed because we created that desire on our own. We are blessed because He gave it to us and He is about to meet every desire all our desperations per His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.

Do not procrastinate

IMG_3137

Recently I took courage and followed through with my doctor’s order and had mammogram done. I have been procrastinating this visit for the past year. Considering that I am at high risk through family history I was inclined to do the test as soon as possible. They say prevention is better than cure. There is no excuse for procrastination. Sometimes it is the result of laziness. I think a lot of us will identify with that. We delay things that we know should never delay.

Delay to offer your apology.
Delay to heal the broken relationship
Or dealing with anger.

Ephesians 4:26 In your anger do not sin; Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry.
There was a certain man who had so much anger towards his father. He felt like the father was not there in his life so everything negative in his life he blamed his father for it. As a Christian, he knew about God’s principles on forgiveness. One day he heard a preacher saying, ‘if you do not forgive those who hurt you, you are in prison of your own.’

The Preacher’s words tormented him so much that he really wanted to talk to his father. Well, it was too little too late, his father was in a terminal condition in the hospital. He wasn’t verbal anymore and could not recognize his surroundings. The young man felt so bad about procrastinating. Now he couldn’t get to tell his father that he loves him. Life is too short for hatred and all the evils that the devil wants us to dwell on.

Hebrews 3:12-13,15 See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But be encourage one another daily, if it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.
15, As has just been said ” Today, is hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion.”

Procrastinating is a bad habit — why? You never seem to do anything because you are never ready.
Never ready to get married
Never ready to have children
Never ready to go church

Anytime is not always the right time. I will give you another example. People who live in the State of Indiana will understand this. On snowy days, will you leave your house wearing open toes shoes? You don’t have to pray hard to figure out if you must wear comfortable and safe-to-walk shoes. Just like LIFE, we should find out what season we are in and live it appropriately.
Is it too late not to procrastinate? No, God can redeem your time.

Joel 2:25 I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten….
We serve a God who will always give us another chance. Be reminded that small things will hinder us from our relationship with Christ and procrastinating is one of them. Now I have taught myself to have a ‘to do list’ for each day. If I don’t accomplish it then I reschedule. This makes me stay focused and disciplined.
The results of the mammogram came through. Before opening the letter, I prayed and said, ” Let your name be glorified, you who formed me in my mother’s womb knows and cares about me. Thank You for these results.” Then I opened the letter.
Proverbs 27: Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth.
Let’s give our all to him the Lord of Lords.
